OPENING:
Recap of last week. For the second time in a row it was the one with the hidden Immunity Idol who was voted out. (Ozzy then Jason)
James goes to Medical and they says it's infected and if not better with the antibiotics in the morning will mean he has to have surgery.
Alexis fell down in the dark and cut her leg.
REWARD CHALLENGE:
They all have to answer a series of questions, privately. Then they get together and for each question must choose who's name they think came up the most. For every correct answer, they can cut a rope of any player. Each player starts with three ropes. They will cut until only one has rope left.
They are playing for time with relatives:
Parvati's mom Gail
Erik's brother Curt
Natalie's mom Rocky
Alexis's brother Nathan
Amanda's sister Katrina
James' father, James Sr.
Cirie's husband H.P.
They will go to Jellyfish Lake where they will swim with non-stinging jellyfish. Also, the winner will chose someone to go to Exile Island. A new Immunity Idol has been hidden.
Questions:
Who does most for the tribe? Correct answer is James. All got it correct but James.
Who never shuts up? Correct answer Amanda. Erik, Alexis, James, Amanda get it right.
Who mistakenly thinks they are in control in the game? Correct answer Parvati. James, Amanda, Erik, Natalie, Cirie. (Cirie hits Parvati's third rope and
gets her out first.)
Who is the most honest? Correct answer is Alexis. Only Cirie got it right. She knocks Erik out. All else have one rope left now.
Who are you least likely to invite to a family dinner? Correct answer is James. His dad is annoyed. All but Parvati get the correct answer. Natalie knocks
James out. (His dad says he'll talk about her when he gets back.) James knocks out Cirie, Amanda knocks out Natalie, Cirie is out but has one hit left. She
knocks out Amanda and Alexis wins reward.
Alexis must choose two others. She picks Cirie and Natalie. She sends Amanda to Exile Island. The other loved ones have to leave. James goes back to Medical.
Medical says it's too risky to leave him out there so he must leave to get proper medical attention. He would have rather have been voted out. Parvati's sad. She respects him.
REWARD:
Alexis, Cirie, and Natalie go with their loved ones to the lake. There are jellyfish everywhere. It's beautiful. Cirie feels it's changed her a bit not to be afraid of every little thing.
EXILE ISLAND:
Amanda starts looking for the idol. She finds all the clues. The hidden idol is back at camp under the flag.
DABU CAMP:
Parvati offers to Alexis that they can vote her out since she looks to be in a lot of pain. Alexis says no. Natalie brings up that Amanda's got too many votes from the jury. Parvati says she won't screw Amanda over.
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE:
Amanda notices that James is gone. Jeff notes that three people have left due to reasons other than being voted out, a Survivor first.
For the challenge, each fires high powered rifles to break three colored sake bottles. The first one to break their three wins immunity.
Natalie breaks one. Amanda misses. Parvati gets her first. Cirie misses. Erik hits his. Alexis misses hers. Natalie misses this time. Amanda misses again. Parvati and Cirie both miss too. Erik hits his second bottle and is in the lead. Alexis misses. Natalie up again and hits for her second. Amanda finally gets her first. Parvati, Cirie miss theirs. Erik hits his third and wins Immunity.
BACK AT DABU:
Amanda says she doesn't have the idol and empties her bag to prove it to them.
Natalie wants to be the one to kill the chicken they'll be eating.
Amanda tells Parvati that the idol is under the flag. She wants to get Alexis out now. Parvati wants to get Natalie out.
Erik and Alexis talk about getting Amanda out. Amanda asks Erik what he's going to do. He says he's between her and Parv. She reminds him that she helped him out. He admits that he is going to vote for her. Cirie asks Erik what the deal is. He says Amanda. Cirie is sad to see her go but thinks she's too strong with the jury. Cirie admits to Amanda that they are going to vote her out. Amanda wants her word that she'd stick with her and Parvati if it weren't like this.
While the others eat, Amanda tries to dig up the idol but they don't show if she gets it or not.
TRIBAL COUNCIL:
The jury shows up. James is attached to an I.V.
Amanda says she didn't find the idol. Cirie says Erik and Amanda are the threats. Amanda says Parvati is the only one not voting for her and is upset with Erik. Natalie's most concerned about Amanda because she's done no wrong. Alexis says she respects every person there right now.
Erik keeps his Immunity..
Vote: Cirie, Natalie votes Amanda, Erik, Parvati, Alexis votes Amanda, Amanda.
Jeff tallies the votes. Jeff asks if anyone wants to play the idol. Amanda says "about that Jeff." She pulls out the idol and tells the others that she didn't lie to them about finding the idol on Exile Island but that she's got it now. Jeff announces that votes for Amanda do not count.
Jeff reads the votes: Amanda, Amanda, Amanda, Amanda, Alexis, Alexis
Twelfth person voted out is Alexis.
Jeff says they are perfecting the art of blindside.
The jury is all smiles.
End of show comment from Alexis: She didn't expect it but it's a game and she's not mad. She's proud she played with integrity and didn't lie in the game. She's rooting for Natalie.
