Thanks to everyone for their understanding of last week's recap not being provided with my uncle's passing.)
It starts with a recap clip of last week's show including the Marie Osmond faint along with more rehearsal clips including the group dance.

Tom and Samantha talk about last week being unpredictable. The celebs and dancers come down for the introduction. They talk about last week again as they perform either their competitive routine and a group dance 50's routine. Tom noted that legal lifts are coming!

SABRINA BRYAN/MARK BALLAS

They recap last week's rhumba. They then show Sabrina doing a 16 hour shoot with the Cheetah Girls along with a new movie that they are doing. They show Mark arriving to the rehearsals and meeting the Cheetah Girls and squeeze in whatever rehearsals they can for their fox trot. She said she was going crazy with everything going on with her rehearsals.

Len said he had no weaknesses last week but this week he thought the dance was too powerful. Bruno said she can be a leading lady but now has to work with the finesse and agreed with Len about it though she did a great job. Carrie Ann said that the two guys didn't know what they were talking about...lost some footing but was feisty when she needed to be and fluid when she needed.
For the scores, Carrie Ann revealed a 9, Len revealed a 8, Bruno revealed a 8...25/30.
TONY'S THOUGHTS:
They did seem to have fun there but they looked somewhat stiff at points. Didn't seem to be their best dance but it was alright.

JENNIE GARTH/DEREK HOUGH

They show last week's samba. She said this past week, the crowd freaks her out. They are rehearsing the mambo but during the process she is freaking out and panics about her dancing. Derek takes Jennie on stage as she said the lights freak her out and wants her to conquer her fear. Derek said imagine Len in his underwear when facing the judges.
SHE : Pink outfit
HE : Silky white shirt, black pants and black hat with red band
SONG : "Do The Mambo"
DANCE : Mambo
Bruno said it was a difference that a week makes...she surprised him, incredible choreography. Carrie Ann said she totally unveiled herself and looked as if she had a great time. Len said that this time is critical and this time she has to come out with an exceptional performance...she did that. Backstage, Jennie said that Derek made things fun for her. Jennie said the group rehearsal was "dangerous". Jennie was very happy with her scores.
For the scores, Carrie Ann revealed a 9, Len revealed a 9, Bruno revealed a 9...27/30.
TONY'S THOUGHTS:
Definitely cute! A lot of elements with the dance (smack butt, smack face) was very good. Definitely had fun out there. This should put them back from last week.

JANE SEYMOUR/TONY DOVOLANI

They show last week's rhumba. Jane said this week they are going to have fun with the jive. She called it hip, young and American. They decide to visit a naval base as they dance in front of a couple of planes and sailors.

HE : White shirt, black pants, suspenders and black hat with white band.

DANCE : Jive
Carrie Ann enjoyed the dance and that Jane had a vibrance..she brought the energy and that she is better than this dance. Len called her nifty for 50...fantastic and some dances are just not on certain people's wavelengths....called it a "ballerina" jive. Bruno called her a class act but this wasn't a comfortable dance for her and agreed with Len and Carrie Ann....not her best dance. Jane, backstage, said she loves every minute and learns so much and loves the fans that voted for them.
For the scores, Carrie Ann revealed a 8, Len revealed a 7, Bruno revealed a 7...22/30.
TONY'S THOUGHTS:
For someone who is 56, Jane looked DAMN good out there! They definitely had fun out there and it looked pretty good.

CAMERON MATHISON/EDYTA SLIWINSKA

They show last week's rhumba that was almost "R" rated. Cameron said that Bruno, saying he is getting better is pushing him to do better. They are rehearsing the samba with Cameron having some problems with it...he doesn't know if he can move too fast. He takes her to West 46th Street in New York City.."Little Brazil". One dancer told him to have fun. A little girl gave him some advice as well. One lady told Cameron to have fun...in Portugese.
HE : Tan sleeveless shirt with darker tan pants
SHE : Tan outfit with a headband
SONG : A Portugese song that I don't know.
DANCE : Samba
Len said it was good in parts but for some reason they didn't capture the spirit of samba and didn't see it. Bruno said he never seen Captain Smith and Pocohontas do a samba...there were good moments but the tribal moments were rough. Carrie Ann called it primal and got into the real passion of the samba and liked him jumping all over...like the jungle in the Amazon.
For the scores, Carrie Ann revealed a 9, Len revealed a 8, Bruno revealed a 8...25/30.
TONY'S THOUGHTS:
Interesting. It didn't grab me. It was alright but nothing that really bowled me over.

MELANIE BROWN/MAKSIM CHMERKOVKSIY

They recap last week's samba. This week they work on the rhumba and go back to week 1 clips and other clips as they confront each other with their passionate personalities. Mel admits their relationship is one big roller coaster ride.

DANCE : Rhumba
Bruno calls it a cliffhanger...a fine line with love and hate...never lost control, excellent. Carrie Ann agreed and was mesmerized and almost cried with the passion..truly sensual. Len said the routine was perfected, dissected...fantastic!
For the scores, Carrie Ann revealed a 10, Len revealed a 10, Bruno revealed a 10...30/30.
TONY'S THOUGHTS:
Nice smooth dance out there....the touch with the judges at the end was cute. Excellent!!

They show last week's competition as well as the "collapse". They are working on the pasa doble. Jonathan said that Marie felt she let her fans down while fainting so that she works hard. Jonathan teaches her breathing techniques so that she won't faint.

Carrie Ann said it was a bit uncomfortable seeing her on the floor but is glad she is back..she has passion and gives it her all but this time she played a bit safe..didn't feel it through her body. Len said this week he should e-mail his critique! He liked the skirt and nice romantic start and then she was like a gypsy in a campfire and then got on with it. Well done. Bruno said he loves Marie...started like Catherine Zeta-Jones..then Catherine Zeta-Cranky. Bruno said she should smile! Backstage, Marie said she was touched by everyone's response to her fainting.
For the scores, Carrie Ann revealed a 8, Len revealed a 8, Bruno revealed a 7...23/30.
TONY'S THOUGHTS:
This is definitely the comeback after the faint spell she had. The pulling of Marie on the floor was a nice fiery touch. Well done.

HELIO CASTRONEVES/JULIANNE HOUGH

They show last week's rhumba. Helio said last week being on the bottom was scary. Julianne wants his personality to come through as Helio said he will do whatever it takes to be a better dancer as they were working on making the body more loose.

Len said last week, Helio tried to be something he wasn't. This week he came back. Fantastic! Bruno said rebranded, repackaged, regenerated, he is back in the race! Carrie Ann said the Latin booty was back! Backstage, Helio said it was awesome to smile....Rico Soave is out, he is back! Julianne said that they are going to have fun out there and that Helio is the only athlete remaining!
For the scores, Carrie Ann revealed a 9, Len revealed a 10 (and said he was an athlete too!), Bruno revealed a 9...28/30.
TONY'S THOUGHTS:
It was like the cha-cha meets 70's funk/disco. They did excellent!

GROUP DANCE:
All of the celebs and dancers arrive to the group rehearsal. Christian Perry is going to choreograph as they joke about having two groups..the chicks and the jocks as they all perform 50's Rock and Roll. They show all of the couples dancing and scoping each other's moves. Sabrina is excited that this time around they can do lifs. Then they all drop on a mat for fun. Helio did some weird flip. Julianne called Derek the biggest klutz!
. Mel was worried about Marie with her fainting.
They show more dances and only has one rehearsal..either they can be good or all over the place.

TONY'S THOUGHTS:
It definitely had that "Grease" feel a la Travolta/Olivia Netwon-John all black look, versus "Happy Days" with the letter jackets. A liked the flip that Mark Ballas did as well as the spin that Max did holding up Mel. The flip on Jennie Garth was good too. Helio did a fantastic job of handling Julianne.
It was a FUN performance! It's performances like that which makes you feel good about this show. Tom said....one rehearsal!
No scoring on the judges but Bruno called it pure joy...that's entertainment and wants to celebrate each of them for making this season the most exciting and competitive to date. Carrie Ann goes "whoooos" and joked about the lifts being dedicated to her. Len said for the camaraderie this group has, they were fantastic!
