Anyone checking this show out? I thought the first week was pretty boring, but thought it improved once we were able to view the actual shorts last night. I tried to vote, but it wouldn't let me, even though it was less than two hours after the show ended.

Who were you going to vote for? When 'On the Lot' first came on I wasn't going to watch it. It didn't look all that interesting to me, but there was nothing on tv a couple of nights, ago so I decided to give it a try. I actually really enjoyed the show ALOT, so I plan on watching it from now on.

I would have voted for Danger Zone (the special effects one that was one of the top three). I also liked Replication Theory and the fantasy one at the airport.
I was sad to see the guy from the UK go since even though his short wasn't the funniest, I thought he had some really cool shots. Some others that stayed should have gone, I thought. I thought the lady with light bulb sketch should have gone, as well as Kenny with his nonsensical cab ride one. |

I've seen part of the show. I don't think it is a bad show but certain elements of it could be the reason why the show is SINKING fast. Even on TVTattle I've read they now took away the Monday showing, just keeping everything on Tuesday. First signs right there..

I was confused by the way they were doing it with just 5 at a time and then voting one out. And I hate their host for the Tuesday shows, she is almost worse than Julie on Big Brother.
I like the idea of the show and I hope the special effects guy wins. |

I think this host likes to be hugged. lol I LOVE this show. It's actually my favorite show on tv right now.(and to think I wasn't even going to watch this reality show)  What was I thinking!Dance with the Devil( think that's what it was called), was awesome. I thought it looked very professional, and when the bad guy whispered in the other guy's ear 'was it worth it', I burst into tears.  Polished was really good!!!  The cupid one made me laugh and I loved how they ended the story.  I like how it looked like the woman was so happy to have a man sitting across from her that actually wanted to listen to what a woman had to say, (made me think that's what the true storyline was for a second,lol), and then cupid heard that gift of gab,lol , and then stuck the dart back in the post. LMAO. That was real funny!

I liked Polished the best. I actually liked Kenny's one a bit too, which surprised me. I chuckled a bit at the cupid one, but also found the pacing a bit off between the two leads. I liked the background characters better. The kid wanting the game console was cute too.
I thought Dance with the Devil was cheesy and did remind me of a trailer. I think that guy is all substance and very defensive. He doesn't take any criticism well. |

I liked Glass Eye the best. I also liked Sunshine Girl. They were both cute and visually interesting.
I lost Lost had potential, but was missing something. Blood Born was visually interesting, but it didn't seem to have a point. He was doing drugs, he has magic blood, and then he's going to get shot for his drug deals. Poorly executed. The Orchard was a mess. If I hadn't been told it was a horror story from the tree's perspective, I wouldn't have known. It wasn't scary and just went on and on. I don't think it was "experimental", just long and boring. |
