The lastest one about the car accident victim was good - it had lots of twists to it. I do enjoy the flashbacks and the music too.

Does anyone else watch this? If it's not preempted by a football game, it's pretty enjoyable.

I watched this last week and remember enjoying it.
The one I saw was about a young lady who died. |

I was really into this show when it first came out. Then I got too frustrated trying to figure out what time it would start (after 60 Mins. ran after football ended.) I hadn't watched in a long time unitl last night. It was "Bad Night", about the car accident victim. I think it's a really good show. I like the twists, flashbacks, and music. I like the cast.

I like this show pretty well. Good cast and interesting characters. However, I always have to chuckle at how EVERYBODY connected with every "cold case" they investigate is always still living right there in the Philadelphia area. In reality, I think at least half the people who were living in Philadelphia back in the 1960s or 70s (I realize they have done cases as recent as 2001 and as far back as the 1930s, but these two decades seem to predominate) probably now live in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona or some place like that. And I would think that having had a family member of close friend brutally murdered would make a person MORE likely to relocate from the city where the crime occurred, not less so.
But that's just me being nitpicky. It really is a good show |

One thing I really appreciate about "Cold Case" is that the show frankly acknowledges that racism wasn't just a "Southern" problem during the 1940s and 50s.
I get annoyed when TV shows pretend that racial integration was common everywhere *but* the South prior to the 1960s. My parents were high school students in Texas during the 1950s and they didn't have any non-white classmates. But you know what? My in-laws were high school students in New Jersey during the same decade and they had the exact same number of black classmates as my parents did! While things were undoubtedly somewhat better in places like Pennsylvania and New Jersey for black people during the 1940s and 50s than they were in the Deep South, I commend "Cold Case" for being upfront about the fact that there was racism and segregation "up North" during those decades, too. |

I'm so annoyed w/ this show bcs of when it's on. I've missed the last 2 eps bcs of 60 Minutes running late from the games. Grrr!!

Does your local affiliate push the show back later in the evening or does it show it on another day? I remember that some shows that started at 8pm and would be overrun with a basketball game would show up the next day at 7pm.
I haven't had that problem with Cold Case, but I think that's more of a east coast/west coast thing with the sports. Velveeta Head

It's the East coast thing - it gets pushed back. Last season I had to watch it on reruns. It's pretty annoying.
