I've really been enjoying this season. The season finale airs Friday 6/9 at 9pm ET. I found the 'reality' aspect of this past episode "Bad Wolf" quite amusing.

It doesn't appear that there are any other Doctor Who fans onboard, but FYI the new season starts tonight on Sci-Fi channel at 8p.m. ET. The 90 minute premiere will be followed by another 60 min. episode from 9:30-10:30 p.m. They're repeating at 10:30 p.m. You can refer to the schedule here.

So far I'm pleased with the new season. I had really liked Christopher Eccleston as The Doctor (and was pretty upset that he left!) but think they did a great job casting David Tennant. I'm still adjusting a bit, but by episode 3 he's really taken the role. I really enjoy the visual effects in the show.
As for the plots so far, I was a little surprised it went negatively with Harriet Jones and that Cassandra would give in so easily at the end. The Wolf was intense. I wonder what's really up with the Queen, besides not being amused! |

I Was Concerned When Eccleston Left But Tennant Grew On Me Also After A Few Episodes.

Tennant really grew on me in the first few episodes but overall I'm still not fully adjusted. Part of it is I haven't enjoyed his relationship with Rose as much as I did with Eccleston.
The two episode finale's on tonight from 8-10 pm et! |

I forgot to come post here after I caught up. This past December, my husband and I watched almost all of the first season (we had only seen the first few episodes when they first premiered) and then watched all of the second season. I grew to like Tennent by the end of the second season, but he did not have the chemistry with Rose like Eccleston did. I really believed that he loved Rose and I never really believed it with Tennent. I also didn't fully believe it with Rose either.
With Rose and Eccleston, there was a sexual tension there. With Rose and Tennent, it was more like they were buddies. I am so glad Eccleston is on Heroes now because I miss him on Who. Velveeta Head

I totally agree about the chemistry!
I am also happy to see Eccleston on Heroes. It will probably be a little easier adjustment, for me anyway, with a new companion. I assume it'll be a while to the new season but I will be excited when it returns. I am going to rewatch Season 2 with a friend on DVD between now and then. |

I like the new season so far. I like Martha Jones. There've been some pretty funny scenes too.

I saw the runaway bride episode before the real new season episode with Martha. I am so glad the bride was just a one off episode since she was so annoying! I love Martha though. She's awesome and she has much better chemistry with the doctor than Rose did. Rose worked so much better with the previous doctor.
