Hal Munson, a role he had for 21 years even though at one time he took a leave of absence a couple of years ago. His last performance will be Wednesday, July 12th. There are no plans to recast the role.

TV Fanatic! Posts: 19891 07/08/06 17:24:42 THE CABLE BOX ezOp Emeritus	It is freaky because my wife is a big "As The World Turns" fan and I've been catching the episodes since we have Tivo now. Apparently Hendrickson has been depressed about his mother's real life death, and then to be an integral part of a plot where his "daughter" dies from an illness really had to send him over the edge. Guess the dumb question of the day is this...if the producers KNEW he was going through this depression, then why involve him in a story line that was "too close to home", of sorts? His last appearance, BTW, will be on July 12th.
