"Chuck" sounds quite similar to the short-lived "Jake 2.0" that aired on the now-defunct UPN a few years ago.
"The Biggest Loser" was the lead-in show for "Kidnapped" last season and is the lead-in for "Chuck" this season. While "TBL" is arguably not *as* bad of a lead-in for a comedy/drama than it was for the darkly dramatic "Kidnapped" it really doesn't seem like a strong lead-in for. . .well, anything. So my guess is that "Chuck" will go the way of "Kidnapped"; but, this time, it will be gone before I begin watching, not after I've foolishly allowed myself to become involved in it.
I've been burned too many times -- most recetly by NBC with "Kidnapped" -- with getting "hooked" on shows that only last half a dozen eps. If this show is still on the air in January of 2009, I may start watching then.
