SEGMENT 1:
It starts with a recap of Jen & Parker's eviction, the HOH, Josh's comments on Amanda, James/Chelsia promising Matt is safe, the nomination ceremony...along with a bit of preview of today's episode.

In B&W it starts with the nomination ceremony from James/Chelsia. Color (grinding guitar)...Day 15. Amanda was not surpised, feeling that they are the strongest competitors. Alex said that 75 percent of the responsibility was due to Amanda. Matt called James a double crosser and "the kid with the pink hair" must go down!
In the HOH room, Chelsia felt bad that Matt is pissed off. James said you're supposed to lie about things to get ahead. Then he gets Chelsia in the bed and becomes playful with her. Natalie talks with Matt wondering what he is feeling..Matt is pissed that James gave his word. Matt said he would try his hardest.
Outside Alex is hanging out and Amanda approaches him...Alex wanted her to leave him alone and has a very negative attitude towards her....that there wasn't anything said about Alex. Amanda wanted Alex to have a positive attitude and Alex said he just wanted his space.
Inside, Alison and Natalie are in bikinis in the bathroom as they have a spray was with Windex! Sheila and Matt talk with Amanda about Alison working everyone. Sheila had a gut feeling about Alison playing her and did a good job. Outside, Matt, Adam and James talk..with Matt calling James a "straight up" dude...the word weasel came out. Alex then approaches James with arm around him. They talk about James putting him up because of Amanda. James said it is a game and will be a great POV. And if Alex gets past this week...it will be revenge!
SEGMENT 2:
Shelia talks to Alison about a weird vibe.....Alison denies. Sheila felt that since Alison was off the block she ignores her. Alison said she has to get to know Ryan but isn't mad at Sheila.
POWER OF VETO:
James/Chelsia picks players...8 players (them, the two nominated couples) and the random couple...Sharon/Joshuah. Adam will be the host of the competition.
In the kitchen, Matt and Alex talk about wanting to win the POV bad. James walks in and Matt asks James if he is read to lose. James said that at least he isn't in a _______ place.
Adam calls everyone out as the teams wear colored construction hats and go out to what looks like radioactive stuff, peanuts, transformers, electric sttuff. They have been there for 15 days cut off from the world. The couple that can solve the puzzle and "restore communication" will not only win but get some info from the outside world.
By adjusting the utility pole with the cable and peanuts...once the red light spins, they win.
The race starts with the teams digging through the peanuts, by dumping cans, to get the cables together. They notice that some cables are longer than others and that there is only one solution. James felt lost with his cables as Alex and Amanda were two cables away but some were too short. Joshuah was missing one cable that they needed..they then finished and went to the light (Josh slipped). The buzzer went on and Sharon and Joshuah won the POV. Alex felt they lost by seconds. Matt said they failed at the task at hand. They then get a crawl about John McCain, Barack Obama and the latest primary (with Amanda rooting both). They talk about Britney Spears as welll...as well as some Hudson River Virus (which looked like something fake)
The commercial that aired afterwards promoed the "Hudson River Virus" from Jericho (shameless!)
SEGMENT 3:
Alison is plucking Matt's eyebrows. Sheila felt Alison has become more distant as Alison hangs out with everyone else. Sheila talks to Natalie and said the bitch will go down in flames (regarding Alison) with Joshuah trying to listen in. Natalie felt that Sheila should keep things in. Sheila thought that Alison made up the financial debt thing. They notice something moving (Joshuah was near).
Sheila talks to Matt about Alison as well...saving that "bitch" from the block. Matt calls her a mental case. Sheila feels Alison is turning on her....Alison has education, Sheila has street smarts...lived in Newark. Some HG's is in the HOH bedroom talking to Alison regarding Sheila..coming from Sharon. Alison wonders what is going on. Ryan wondered what was up with that lady and knew he can't trust her. Alison invites everyone down as she talks to Sheila. Alison enters a bedroom while Sheila was napping wondering what was up. Sheila wanted Alison to be there...she owed her and Adam from getting her off the block...but felt that Alison was talking down to her like she was crap....Sheila was her friend and Alison said vice versa...Sheila felt Alison turned on her once she got off the block. Alison calls Sheila pathetic and Sheila didn't want Alison to talk to her anymore in the game. Sheila keeps pushing Alison's education...Alison said who gives a crap about education. Ryan then walks in wondering what Alison did to backstab Sheila. Adam was there as the other hg's in different rooms were laughing. Sheila tells Alison that she doesn't have to be her friend...go play the game.
SEGMENT 4:
THE SICKNESSES
Nighttime at the house with Sheila in a room by herself. Alison jogs around outside as she talks to Sharon about Sheila and that people are getting cranky on slop. Alison then ran inside the house into the diary room and said she is having an allergic reaction..her throat was closing. Tammy, the nurse in the DR gave some sort of aspiring to her. Amanda talks about being hypoglycemic. In the DR, Alison started feeling better. Then Amanda got sick (from not eating) then FAINTED. Natalie calls the other HG's in to help Amanda who fainted. James buzzes into the DR. Alex noted that Alison's face is blown up. Amanda was starting to convulse as the nurse ran in to help Amanda. The hg's then sit her up as they get juice for her. They couldn't find juice but get water. Amanda is coughing badly as James is holding her back...you hear an ambulance in the background. Amanda didn't realize she blacked out. The paramedics arrive as they take Amanda in a stretcher as the nurse is explaining what happened. The paramedics put Alison on the steatcher and she is crying that she needs some sugar. They roll her out.....
SEGMENT 5:
Adam praises James for being there for Amanda, he couldn't do it. The other HG's worry about Amanda and Alison wondering if they were coming back. Joshuah felt REAL bad for attacking Amanda and does care for her...the BB family. Alex said when something like that happens, you want to make sure she is okay. Matt didn't think James could "man up" the way he did but praised James for being there and stepping up for Amanda. Alex described Alison's lips being triple the size. Sheila said she couldn't forgive herself if something happened to Alison.
At night, Amanda walks back into the house and quietly goes to the bedroom. Joshuah hugs her and they bring Amanda out as everyone hugs her. Matt tells Amanda to run light speed to James for helping her. James said you do what you gotta do and only did it to help a person. Sharon called it scary. Amanda said that even though the people can be....that they do care about her well being and is happy to be with those people. They then mention about Alison having her alergic reaction. Soon enough Alison returns into the house as they hug her. Alison is grateful being in the BB house because she might not have gotten that immediate treatment outside. Alison and Amanda talk about their experiences and admit they have to change the way they feel...Sheila walks in and hugs everyone and made up. Sheila apologizes to Alison...these are people's children and that this is just a game.
Outside, Amanda said she wanted to stay in the house and wants to win
POV CEREMONY:
Sharon and Joshua look at the wall...Joshuah said he could gain an ally saving a couple. Sharon calls everyone in. Sheila doesn't feel safe and that her fight with Alison caused ripples.
Joshuah conducts the meeting. Matt admits being nervous but figures that they want Amanda/Alex out but based on past history, the pawn gets out. Alex said it is what it is.
Amanda/Alex goes first. Amanda said that they may want to expect the HOH nominations. Alex was "do what you gotta do". Matt said he respects their decision. Natalie doesn't want to go back to the Beaver State (Oregon)
Joshuah said that he loves them all...but decide NOT to use the power of veto and respect the HOH's decision. Meeting adjourned. Matt is upset he is up against Alex but isn't there to make friends and has to win. Alex hopes that "Boston" goes down (Matt). Amanda said her experience in the hospital won't stop her...if she is in the house, everyone watch out.
