Gosh, I thought the girls did better last night than the guys this week? "Idol" Record Execs: We're Into the Guys! TMZ has learned the recording industry has no interest -- at least for now -- in the "American Idol" girls. Their focus is exclusively on two male contestants. Well-connected record industry sources tell TMZ the major publishers (including Sony and Warner) have already set their sights on David Archuleta and David Hernandez. The record publishers have already told their songwriters to write songs specifically for David-squared, whether they win or not. TV Fanatic! Posts: 19855 03/11/08 19:22:11 THE CABLE BOX ezOp Emeritus	Big Brother 9 is whacking my programming schedule! And it is the big draw on THE CABLE BOX. I'll try to watch as much of Idol as I can, but with Big Brother on at 9PM Tuesdays, for the first few weeks I can't keep up towards the end. I can watch the Wednesday results show but that's it. If anyone can do a recap, that would be great because I can't cover Tuesdays.

So the industry sources are not in tune with what the people would buy it appears. It wouldn't surprise me if the bottom two were Carly and David Cook, or even Brooke....maybe those three in the final three, and then I don't know who would be the winner from there, at least I don't have a good feel in my gut yet. ~~Dustbgone~~
